Nutritional Health Care is the use of nutritional and naturopathic methods in order to promote treatment of underlying disease causing and/or contributing factors. It is not seen as a complete alternative to mainstream medicine, it is more aiming to promote the underlying health of an individual, therefore contributing to disease prevention and treatment.

Kerstin completed a Bachelor of Science (Health Psychology) in Edinburgh, followed by a Masters in Human Nutrition at Deakin University in Melbourne. She then went on to complete a Diploma of Naturopathy.

Kerstin enjoys the ability to help others on their journey to recover health and enhance wellbeing through her patience, honesty and caring nature.

Her treatment aims to focus on the underlying cause of disease and disease prevention. She utilises herbal and nutritional medicine, dietary and lifestyle advice, as well as Low Level Laser Therapy.

Her special interests includes pain management, sleep issues, anxiety/depression and burn out!

“I have seen the impact firsthand, growing up with family members suffering from pain and inflammation, and the effect that has on their bodies, relationships and their health.

“I have made it my mission to empower people to take control of their health and regain their quality of life. I’m passionate about helping people see a more natural way to live the life they deserve”.

As a mum of two girls, Kerstin cherishes the time with family and friends, as well as enjoying activities such as netball, going to the gym and swimming at the beach.

She offers a range of treatments which include:

Using Naturopathic and Nutritional techniques, Kerstin has a special interest in treating the following:

Drug-free pain relief and healing.
Low level laser therapy (LLLT) is the application of red and near infrared light over injuries to stimulate cellular repair and tissue healing. Unlike surgical or aesthetic lasers, it does not cause your tissues to heat up. Light frequencies reduce pain and promote tissue healing.

It is painless, safe, non-invasive and has no side effects.

Low–Level laser has an analgesic effect, which reduces the pain signals going to the brain. After a number of treatments, the nerves in the affected area become less irritable and pain is reduced. By blocking the pain over a period of time muscles in the affected area become more relaxed and tissues heal.

To sum up Low Level Laser Therapy

  • Provides pain relief by treating the cause and alleviating the symptoms
  • Accelerates healing, getting you back in action faster
  • Reduces inflammation and swelling, meaning less discomfort after an injury
  • Reduces reliance on pharmaceuticals (under medical supervision)
