Osteopathy, or Osteopathic Manual Therapy (OMT), is a hands on therapy aiming to restore optimum tissue function & repair by helping correct altered bodily structure. Osteopathy is considered part of Allied Health and is not an alternative medicine, we just take a holistic approach to musculo-skeletal health.
Osteopaths employ a broad range of treatment modalities such as but not limited to: soft tissue massage (STM), spinal & peripheral joint manipulation (HVLA), mobilisations, stretching, muscle energy techniques (MET), electro-therapies such as ultrasound & TENS and functional releases.
Massage is the manual working of deeper and superficial layers of connective tissue and muscle, using a variety of techniques, to improve function, stimulate the healing process, and promote relaxation and well-being. Anyone who has had a massage knows the benefits such as feeling renewed and restored. We offer deep tissue, sports, & remedial massages.
Podiatrists are university trained allied health professionals specialising in the prevention, diagnosis, and rehabilitation of foot, ankle and lower leg pain and injury. They specialise in the natural and non-surgical treatments for a large array of injuries, pain and disorders affecting the foot and ankle.
